Planning a wedding is most likely the biggest party most of us will ever have to plan for. It can be stressful, it can be overwhelming, and for me, after a few weeks of worrying we decided to opt for the experience of a wedding planner. When it comes to coming up with ideas, I'm pretty good but when it comes to enquiring or executing bookings, I prefer to leave that to the lovely Louise and my fiancé!
Before we booked our planner, we looked into apps and wanted to share the best with you!
This app is the best all rounder - you are able to personalise your home page with your favourite couple image, a countdown til your big day, along with a little celebration button for your very own virtual confetti explosion!
The budget list is so straight forward, tracking is a breeze! You are able to search through a list of local suppliers and request brochures and so on.
In the guest list part of your app you can add those guest you wish to invite, with who is attending your day, evening only, if you've invited them, their partners or family and if they have RSVP'd, have any food allergies, which table their on and finally the contact details. Each list is able to be printed or emailed so you can hand these to your suppliers and caterers with minimal fuss and best of all, this app is free! Take a look!
'appy couple' I tried purely as I loved the name! And trying to keep us a 'appy couple' I loved the very nice feature of a couples website! Save some money on sending our invitations, you can tweak your plans on here. Your guests can check in anytime to see your plans, venue, date, menu choices and so on.
This app is really helpful tool for couples planning weddings with the pandemic still present, no more sending out 'postponed save the dates', 'new venues' and changing details without all the stress and cost to you or your guests. Also Free, click and see for yourself!
Wanting to create a hashtag but have last names that just don't go together? Wedbox is one of the best apps, and also Free! You and your guests can use this app on the build up to and the big day and the day itself. It's a place for everyone to upload their candid snaps and for your talented friends and suppliers to add beautiful photos without you having to go searching for them.
Most couples getting married already live together and it's becoming more common for engaged couples to request money for a special honeymoon with a cute poem or song. Honeyfund takes all that worry mentioning money out of the equation. You are able to set your destination, any activities you wish to do once you're decided and your guests can opt to contribute towards or pay for an adventure that they know you'll love. Another free app so you'd be silly not to try it!
